1. Verify Software Version

• Before beginning the update process, verify the current software version of your Entune system. This information can typically be found in the settings menu of the infotainment system under "System Information" or "Software Update."

2. Check for Available Updates

• Visit the official Toyota website or the Toyota Owner's Portal to check if there are any available updates for your Entune system. Make sure to have your vehicle's VIN handy as it may be required to search for software updates.

3. Download the Update

• If an update is available, download it to your computer. Ensure that you have a USB drive with at least 4GB of free space and that it is formatted to either FAT32 or exFAT.

4. Transfer the Update to a USB Drive

• Copy the downloaded update file to the root directory of the USB drive. Do not place it inside any folders, as this may prevent the Entune system from recognizing the update.

5. Insert USB Drive into Tundra

• Start your 2019 Toyota Tundra. Once the vehicle is on, insert the USB drive containing the update file into the USB port on the infotainment system.

6. Initiate Update Process

• Navigate to the "Settings" menu on the Entune system. Select "System Information" and then "Software Update." Follow the on-screen instructions to begin the update process.
• The system will detect the update file on the USB drive and will prompt you to confirm the update. Confirm and allow the system to update.

7. Wait for Update to Complete

• The update process may take several minutes. Do not turn off the vehicle or remove the USB drive during the update. The system may restart several times as it installs the new software.

8. Verify Update Installation

• Once the update is complete, the Entune system will display a confirmation message. You can verify that the update was successful by checking the software version in the "System Information" menu.

9. Remove USB Drive

• After confirming the update, safely remove the USB drive from the infotainment system.
