Steps to Fix Common Failures

• Replacing the Air Compressor:
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Locate the air compressor (usually on the passenger side front fender).
  3. Remove the mounting bolts and disconnect the air lines and electrical connector.
  4. Install the new compressor by reversing the removal steps.
  5. Reconnect the negative battery terminal and clear the diagnostic codes using an OBD-II scanner.
• Replacing Air Springs/Struts:
  1. Raise the vehicle and remove the wheel corresponding to the faulty air spring/strut.
  2. Disconnect the air line from the air spring/strut.
  3. Remove the mounting bolts and take out the faulty air spring/strut.
  4. Install the new air spring/strut by reversing the removal steps.
  5. Reconnect the air line and wheel.
  6. Lower the vehicle and clear diagnostic codes.

  1. Locate the faulty air line or solenoid valve.
