Preparation
 

• Ensure the car is parked on a level surface, the engine is turned off, and the keys are removed from the ignition.
• Open the hood by pulling the hood release lever inside the vehicle.
• Prop the hood open with the hood support rod.

 
Access the Headlight Assembly
 

• Locate the headlight assembly at the front of the car. Depending on which bulb needs replacement, access the headlight from behind.
• Identify the cover at the back of the headlight. This can usually be rotated to unlock. Turn the cover counterclockwise to remove it.

 
Remove the Old Bulb
 

• Identify the bulb holder. It may require you to unclip or unplug the electrical connector. Carefully pull it away from the bulb.
• Release the bulb from the holder. Depending on the model, you may need to unscrew it or simply pull it out.

 
Install the New Bulb
 

• Take the new bulb out of the packaging. Be cautious not to touch the glass with your fingers, as oils from your skin can shorten the bulb's life. Use gloves or a clean cloth if needed.
• Insert the new bulb into the holder. Ensure it is secured in place.
• Reconnect the electrical connector to the bulb, making sure it clicks or snaps into place.

 
Reassemble the Headlight Assembly
 

• Replace the cover at the back of the headlight by turning it clockwise until it is firmly in place.
• Make sure everything is secure and no wires are pinched or exposed.

 
Testing the New Bulb
 

• Turn on your vehicle and test the headlight to ensure the new bulb functions properly.
• If the bulb does not light up, double-check the connections and ensure it's installed correctly.

 
Final Steps
 

• Once satisfied that everything is working properly, close the hood securely.
• Dispose of the old bulb appropriately, according to your local regulations for hazardous waste.
