Learn how to update the Uconnect infotainment system on your 2019 Ram 1500 with our step-by-step guide to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process.

Check for Updates

First, you'll need to determine if there is an update available for your Uconnect system. Visit the official Uconnect website and navigate to the software update section.

Prepare a USB Drive

Obtain a USB drive with at least 4GB of storage, and make sure it is formatted to FAT32.
Download the update file from the Uconnect website and transfer it to the USB drive.

Start the Update Process in Your Vehicle

Turn on your 2019 Ram 1500's ignition but do not start the engine.
Insert the USB drive into the USB port in your vehicle.
The Uconnect system should automatically detect the update file on the USB drive.

Follow On-Screen Prompts

Once the update is detected, the infotainment system will display a prompt asking if you want to start the update process.
