1.  
   Gather Necessary Equipment:
    
   • New key fob compatible with 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
   • Existing key fob (if available).
   • Your vehicle's owner's manual (recommended).

 
Insert Existing Key:
 

• Insert the existing key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine.

 
Activate Vehicle Learning Mode:
 

• Press and hold the "Unlock" button on the driver-side door.


• While holding the "Unlock" button, insert and remove the existing key from the ignition cylinder two times within a 10-second period.

 
Insert New Key:
 

• Insert the new key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position within 10 seconds of removing the existing key.


• You should see the vehicle's security light come on and then turn off. This indicates the new key fob is being programmed.

 
Wait for Security Light:
 

• Wait until the security light turns off. This process can take up to 30 seconds. Once the light turns off, the new key fob should be programmed.

 
Test the New Key Fob:
 

• Turn off the ignition and remove the key.


• Test the new key fob to ensure it works by locking and unlocking the doors and starting the engine.

 
Repeat If Necessary:
 

• If you have additional key fobs to program, repeat the above steps for each one.

 
Exit Programming Mode:
 

• Once all additional key fobs are programmed, exit the programming mode by turning the ignition to the "OFF" position and removing the key.
