1. Gather Necessary Tools and Materials
 

• New engine air filter
• Screwdriver or a socket wrench
• Clean cloth or gloves

• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is turned off.
• Open the hood and secure it with the prop rod.

• The air filter box is usually located on the passenger side of the engine bay. It is a rectangular-shaped box with a hose connected to it.

• Identify the screws or clips holding the air filter box cover in place.
• Use a screwdriver or socket wrench to carefully remove the screws or unclip the clips.
• Lift the cover off and set it aside.

• Take note of how the old air filter is positioned in the air filter box.
• Carefully lift the old filter out of the box.
• Dispose of the old filter properly.

• You can use a clean cloth to wipe out any debris or dirt inside the air filter box.

• Position the new air filter in the same way the old one was placed.
• Ensure that the filter aligns properly with the edges of the air filter box.

• Place the cover back onto the air filter box, ensuring it fits snugly.
• Secure the cover with the screws or clips you previously removed.
