1. Gather Necessary Tools and Materials

New engine air filter
Screwdriver or a socket wrench
Clean cloth or gloves

2. Prepare the Vehicle

Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is turned off.
Open the hood and secure it with the prop rod.

3. Locate the Air Filter Box

The air filter box is usually located on the passenger side of the engine bay. It is a rectangular-shaped box with a hose connected to it.

4. Remove the Air Filter Box Cover

Identify the screws or clips holding the air filter box cover in place.
Use a screwdriver or socket wrench to carefully remove the screws or unclip the clips.
Lift the cover off and set it aside.

5. Remove the Old Air Filter

Take note of how the old air filter is positioned in the air filter box.
Carefully lift the old filter out of the box.
Dispose of the old filter properly.

6. Clean the Air Filter Box (Optional)

You can use a clean cloth to wipe out any debris or dirt inside the air filter box.

7. Install the New Air Filter

Position the new air filter in the same way the old one was placed.
Ensure that the filter aligns properly with the edges of the air filter box.

8. Reattach the Air Filter Box Cover

Place the cover back onto the air filter box, ensuring it fits snugly.
Secure the cover with the screws or clips you previously removed.

9. Close the Hood

Remove the prop rod and carefully close the hood of the vehicle.

10. Test the Vehicle

Start the engine and ensure everything runs smoothly.
